Our Parish

St. Joseph Syro-Malabar Catholic Parish, Hamilton is a vibrant and growing community under the Syro-Malabar Eparchy of Mississauga. We, a community of faith and love, preserve and cherish our rich religious traditions and values. We are dedicated to the heavenly intercession of St. Joseph, our patron saint. Our mission is to strengthen our faith, uphold our Catholic traditions and pass on our faith to the younger generations.

Our Patron

St. Joseph is the patron saint of our parish, and he is also the patron of the universal church. We celebrate his feast day on March 19. Saint Joseph is regarded as the saint of everyday life, to whom we turn to help for in our times of trouble and life-defining moments.

Eparchy of Mississauga

The Syro-Malabar Catholic Eparchy of Mississauga is a diocese for all the Syro-Malabar Catholics in Canada. It comprises of many parishes and missions all across Canada. It is currently the largest Catholic diocese in the world by area, covering most of Canada.  The main objectives of the Eparchy of Mississauga are to form, to fortify, and to evangelize the People of God and preserve them with all necessary pastoral care.
